Flying In on Concert Day? Straight to the Merch Line While Your Luggage Goes to the Hotel (Japan, Korea, Taiwan)

Get an instant luggage delivery quote Get a Quote

If you land on the day of the concert, don't take your suitcase to the venue. Hand it over in the arrivals hall between 09:00 and 18:00, travel to the venue or the merch line with a small bag, and pick the suitcase up at your hotel front desk after the show: same-day hotel delivery arrives by 21:00, or by 18:00 with priority delivery. Venue coin lockers in Japan, Korea and Taiwan are limited, rarely take a full-size case, and some close before the show ends.

Key takeaways

How to plan a concert day when you land the same morning

The plan that works best is: land in the morning, hand over your luggage in the arrivals hall, go straight to the venue area with a small bag, and collect your suitcase at the hotel after the show. Book the handover for at least an hour after your scheduled landing to allow for immigration and baggage claim; the terms suggest leaving about two hours if you want a buffer for delays.

Time (example, evening show) You Your luggage
Morning Land, clear immigration and customs Handed to an agent at the airport meeting point (09:00–18:00)
Late morning to afternoon Train to the city, lunch, merch line On its way to your hotel
Evening Doors open, show starts At the hotel front desk by 21:00 (by 18:00 with priority delivery)
After the show Back to the hotel by train Collect it at the front desk
Next day Check out, one more day hands-free Hotel to airport, before your flight

Door and start times, and when merch sales begin, differ for every show and are announced by the organiser. Check them before you choose your flight.

Landing before 09:00 on an overnight flight

Airport handovers start at 09:00, so if you land at 06:00 you'll have a wait. Have breakfast or a shower at the airport and hand over at 09:00, or take your bags to the hotel yourself, leave them at the front desk and book hotel delivery from there. The full plan is in Early-Morning Arrival in Japan Before Check-In: A Luggage and Time Plan for Red-Eye Flights.

Landing in the afternoon

The last airport handover slot is 18:00, and there must be at least 3 hours between pickup and delivery. If you land in the afternoon, the booking page shows which slots are still open. If you want the 18:00 priority delivery, you'll need to hand over by about 15:00. If the timing doesn't work, drop your bags at the hotel on the way and go to the venue from there.

Concert venues in Japan, Korea and Taiwan: nearest stations and locker rules

Every major venue is close to a rail station, but none of them is designed for fans arriving with a full-size suitcase. The table sums up what each venue's official site, or its operator, says (checked October 2026).

Venue Fly into Nearest station Lockers and bag rules (official sources)
Tokyo Dome Haneda / Narita JR Suidobashi, Korakuen (Tokyo Metro), Suidobashi (Toei Mita Line), Kasuga (Toei Oedo Line) Coin lockers at various places in the dome. Large bags that don't fit your seat space are not allowed in at events. The dome is cashless
Kyocera Dome Osaka Kansai / Itami Dome-mae Chiyozaki (Osaka Metro), Dome-mae (Hanshin), next to the dome Lockers on the 2F floor map, number and sizes not published. Suitcases are prohibited at baseball games; concert rules come from the organiser
KSPO DOME (Seoul) Incheon / Gimpo Olympic Park Station (Lines 5 and 9), Exit 3 The venue page lists no lockers. Paid lockers at the park's Peace Plaza information centre, open only 09:00–19:00
Gocheok Sky Dome (Seoul) Incheon / Gimpo Guil Station (Line 1), Exit 2, about 3 min on foot The operator said in 2024 that lockers were being installed in two infield corridors; number and sizes not published
Taipei Dome Taoyuan / Songshan MRT Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall; the dome sits between it and Taipei City Hall station 60 lockers next to B1 Gates 2, 3 and 4: 40 small (20-inch cabin case), 20 large (up to 29 inches)
Kaohsiung National Stadium Kaohsiung World Games Station (KMRT Red Line) No lockers listed on the official sources we checked; bag storage at concerts depends on the organiser

For Kyocera Dome Osaka, including the 2026 MAMA AWARDS on 20 and 21 November, see Kyocera Dome Osaka on Concert Day: From Kansai Airport Straight to the Venue While Your Bags Go to the Hotel (2026 MAMA AWARDS). For the other venues, rely on the organiser's notice for your show: it overrides the venue's general rules.

Venue coin lockers vs informal bag storage vs luggage delivery

If you're arriving on the day, luggage delivery is the option that doesn't depend on finding a free locker. Lockers are first come, first served, and only a few take a full-size suitcase. Taipei's metro added lockers at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station for dome events in December 2024, giving 52 there, and also notes they can't be used outside metro operating hours.

Option Where Fits a full-size suitcase? Watch out for
Venue coin lockers Inside or beside the venue Only a few large lockers, if any Gone early on show days; some are inside the gates
Station coin lockers Stations near the venue A few large lockers Every fan is looking for one; closed outside operating hours
Organiser's bag check Announced per show Depends on the show Not offered at every concert; queues before and after
Informal storage outside the venue Pavements, nearby shops Usually No receipt, no clear responsibility
Luggage delivery to your hotel Airport meeting point Yes Book at least 24–72 hours ahead (exact cutoff on the booking page)

Is it safe to leave your suitcase with people outside the venue?

Be careful. On big concert days, people sometimes offer to mind bags outside venues for cash. These services are usually not run by the venue or the organiser, there's often no receipt or written record of your bag's condition, and it may be unclear who is responsible if something goes missing. If you need storage on the day, use the organiser's official bag check, a locker, or a staffed service that gives you a receipt.

How to use LuggAgent (3 steps)

  1. Book your route. Choose the airport and your hotel, the date and the number of bags. Most services need to be booked at least 24–72 hours in advance; the exact cutoff is shown on the booking page. If one end is an Airbnb or homestay, send the full address and entry details (door code, key box or building access) by 13:00 local time on the service day. Check the size and content limits in the luggage rules.
  2. Hand over your bags. On arrival, go to the meeting point shown in your confirmation, where an agent holds a LuggAgent sign. Handovers run 09:00–18:00 (see airport meeting points). Your bags are photographed when they're collected.
  3. Head out hands-free. Go to the venue, and collect your bags at the hotel front desk when you get back. The full process is on How it works.

How to send your luggage from the airport to your hotel on concert day

The difficulty on concert day is the suitcase itself: it can't come into the seats, venue lockers are few and fill early, and taking it to the hotel first can cost you two hours you'd rather spend in the merch line.

LuggAgent collects it in the arrivals hall instead. Your bags are photographed at pickup and again at delivery (Terms, Condition Documentation), and you get an email when they're collected and when they're delivered. They reach your hotel front desk by 21:00 the same day, or by 18:00 with priority delivery. Tell your hotel that your bags will arrive before you, so the front desk knows to accept them.

Prices, areas and the full route lists are on the Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei and Osaka luggage delivery pages. Kaohsiung Airport to Kaohsiung city can also be booked on the booking page.

FAQ

Can I bring a suitcase to a concert in Japan, Korea or Taiwan?

Plan on not doing so. Tokyo Dome doesn't allow large bags that don't fit in your seat space at events, and Kyocera Dome Osaka lists suitcases as prohibited at baseball games. Concert rules are set by each organiser, so check the notice for your show and leave large bags at your hotel or send them ahead.

Are there lockers at Taipei Dome?

Yes. According to the dome's FAQ, there are 60 lockers next to B1 Gates 2, 3 and 4: 40 small ones for a cabin case up to 20 inches and 20 large ones for a case up to 29 inches. The MRT's Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station has 52 more, which can't be used outside metro operating hours.

Where can I store luggage at KSPO DOME?

The KSPO DOME page on the Olympic Park website lists no lockers for the venue. The park's Peace Plaza information centre has paid lockers, usable only while the centre is open, 09:00–19:00, which is earlier than most evening shows end. For an evening show, it's safer to send your suitcase to your hotel or leave it there.

My flight lands at 06:00 on concert day. What should I do with my luggage?

Airport handovers start at 09:00, so you can have breakfast at the airport and hand over at 09:00, or take your bags to the hotel yourself and leave them at the front desk. Book the airport handover for at least an hour after landing so you have time for immigration.

How do I know my bags arrived in the same condition?

LuggAgent photographs the visible condition of each bag when it's collected and again when it's delivered, as set out in the Terms (Condition Documentation). You also get an email at pickup and at delivery, and you can follow the status on the tracking page.
