Universal Studios Singapore Luggage: Send Your Bags From Changi Airport Straight to Sentosa or a City Hotel
A Singapore trip is often planned like this: the first two nights in the city (Orchard Road, Marina Bay, Chinatown), one day at Universal Studios on Sentosa, or even a night or two on Sentosa at Resorts World. Either way, you run into the same problems:
- Big luggage is awkward to take into Universal Studios: the lockers in the park are not large, and the official advice is to use the larger paid lockers at the entrance for big bags, which means queuing and hunting for a spot.
- The hotel can't check you in yet: even if you land in the morning, hotel check-in usually starts at 15:00.
- Switching hotels between the city and Sentosa: dragging luggage on the MRT to HarbourFront and then onto the Sentosa Express is a trip with several changes.
The fix is simple: hand your luggage to us, and we take it from Changi Airport, your city hotel or the cruise terminal straight to your next hotel, while you go and play hands-free.
1. Know the Distances First: Changi, the City and Sentosa

- Taxis and ride-hailing (Grab, Gojek and others) can drive straight onto the island, but an island entry fee is charged on top; the amount varies by time of day and by source, so check on site.
- The times come from Resorts World's official transport guide, the Changi Airport website and several travel sites (verified 2026-10-20). Always check a map or ride-hailing app for the actual trip.
2. Arrival Day: Hand Over Luggage at the Airport and Go to Universal Studios Hands-Free
LUGGAGENT's airport pickup window is 09:00–18:00. If you land between morning and noon:
- After collecting your bags, hand them to us at the airport.
- You head to Sentosa by MRT or ride-hailing, hands-free.
- Your luggage arrives at the hotel front desk before 21:00 (to get it earlier, you can choose delivery before 18:00 for an extra US$35).
A city hotel or a Sentosa hotel are both fine. If you can't check in yet, the luggage simply waits at the front desk; please confirm when booking that the hotel can accept it.
If you land in the evening, airport pickup after 18:00 isn't practical, so it is easier to keep your luggage with you.
Changi Airport also has 24-hour baggage storage counters (Terminals 2, 3 and 4 and Jewel Changi), S$6–19 per bag per 24 hours depending on size. But after storing, you have to come back to the airport to collect it; if you are heading to the city or Sentosa next, sending it straight to your hotel is easier.

3. Switching Hotels Between the City and Sentosa
Two nights in the city and one on Sentosa (or the other way round) is a very common Singapore plan, and hotel-switch day is the most troublesome: check-out is at 11:00, the new hotel only checks you in at 15:00, and there is nowhere convenient for your luggage in between.
- Hand your luggage to the first hotel's front desk before 11:00.
- You set off hands-free, straight to Universal Studios or the Sentosa beaches.
- Your luggage reaches the second hotel's front desk before 21:00, so you can check in right after your day out.

4. Last Day: Hotel to Changi Airport
On check-out day, hand your luggage to the hotel front desk before 11:00. It goes straight to Changi Airport and is handed to you in the agreed time window (at least 120 minutes before departure). Airport delivery between 15:00 and 21:00 has no surcharge; after 21:00 is optional but costs extra.
You don't have to go back to the hotel for your luggage, so you can enjoy a few more hours on Sentosa or in the city.

5. Cruise Travelers
Singapore has two cruise terminals:
- Marina Bay Cruise Centre: most large cruise ships dock here, close to Marina South Pier MRT station.
- Singapore Cruise Centre (HarbourFront): moved in mid-2026 to the new terminal at 5 HarbourFront Avenue, right next to HarbourFront station and VivoCity, a short walk from the Sentosa Express.
On disembarkation day, the most common situation is getting off in the morning with hotel check-in only in the afternoon; on embarkation day, there is a gap between check-out and boarding. Let us carry your luggage between the terminal and your city hotel and you gain half a day hands-free.

This includes the US$25 cruise terminal endpoint fee. The Singapore Cruise Centre at HarbourFront costs the same.

7. Sample 4-Day, 3-Night Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive → city
- Land in the morning, hand your luggage to us at Changi Airport, and it is delivered to your city hotel
- Walk Marina Bay, the Merlion and Gardens by the Bay's night views hands-free
Day 2: A day in the city
- Chinatown, Little India, Orchard Road
Day 3: Switch hotels to Sentosa
- Hand your luggage to the city hotel front desk before 11:00; it is delivered to the Sentosa hotel
- Spend the whole day at Universal Studios hands-free, then go straight to the Sentosa hotel at night, where your luggage is already at the front desk
Day 4: Heading home
- Hand your luggage to the hotel front desk before 11:00; it is delivered to Changi Airport
- Spend the time until the afternoon hands-free at the Sentosa beaches or Jewel Changi, then collect your luggage at the airport and check in
8. FAQ
Q1: Can I bring a suitcase into Universal Studios Singapore? Bags are checked at the entrance. The park's lockers are scattered near the VIP reception, Lost World, Ancient Egypt, Sci-Fi City and other areas, and their numbers change; the official advice is to use the larger paid lockers at the entrance for big bags (Resorts World Sentosa: Universal Studios guest services). Queuing and hunting for a locker with a big suitcase takes a lot of time, so sending it to the hotel first is the easiest.
Q2: Can luggage go straight from Changi Airport to a hotel on Sentosa? Yes. Changi Airport, Singapore city and Sentosa all have quotes between each other; from the cruise terminals you can send to the city or Changi Airport, see section 6.
Q3: What time does luggage reach the hotel? What if I can't check in yet? For hotel delivery you can choose before 21:00 or before 18:00 (extra US$35). Most hotels keep luggage at the front desk first; please confirm when booking that the hotel can accept it. The airport pickup window is 09:00–18:00.
Q4: How far in advance should I book? Hotel and airport orders must be booked by 11:00 one day before the service date at the latest; if the pickup or delivery location is a private rental (B&B), by 11:00 three days before. Booking 30 days or more ahead gets a 5% early-bird discount on the fee.
Q5: Is it OK if I'm staying in a B&B or Airbnb? Yes, but each end that is a B&B adds US$25, and the booking deadline is earlier (see Q4).
Q6: What if luggage is lost or damaged? Every bag comes with insurance of up to US$500, covering delay and loss; for higher coverage you can add up to US$3,000 per bag. Cosmetic or non-structural damage such as scratches, dents, wheels and zippers is not covered. Each bag must weigh no more than 32 kg and have a sum of length, width and height of no more than 180 cm.
