Korea is famous not only for its shopping and food destinations but also for its incredible amusement parks. While there is no Disneyland in Korea, Seoul and Busan offer top-notch alternatives like Lotte World and Everland. Each park has its own unique attractions and features.
In this article, we’ll take a closer look at these three must-visit amusement parks (including both Lotte World locations in Seoul and Busan). Let’s dive in!
When visiting Seoul, most tourists include Lotte World in their itinerary, as it’s one of the largest indoor theme parks in the world. Conveniently located in the heart of Seoul, it’s easily accessible via the Seoul Subway Line 2 to Jamsil Station.
Lotte World Seoul is divided into two main areas: indoor (Adventure) and outdoor (Magic Island). This means that even if it rains, there are plenty of indoor rides and attractions to enjoy. Some must-try indoor rides include the flume ride, VR experiences, and the World Monorail. Outdoors, on Magic Island, don’t miss the VR-enhanced Gyro Drop and Comet Express.

Everland, located in Gyeonggi-do near Seoul, is Korea’s largest and the world’s seventh-largest theme park. About an hour’s drive from Seoul, Everland is divided into five themed areas: American Adventure, European Adventure, Zootopia, Magic Land, and Global Fair. Must-try attractions include the T-Express wooden roller coaster, the Robot VR experience, and the world’s only integrated wildlife zoo in Zootopia.
Everland is a bit more remote, requiring 2-4 transfers if you’re taking the subway. From Seoul, you can take the Bundang Line to Giheung Station, then transfer to the Everline, which takes about two hours. Alternatively, you can take Bus 5002B for a direct route to Everland.
Given its remote location, traveling to Everland can be time-consuming and exhausting, especially if you’re carrying luggages. Luckily, LuggAgent provides luggage delivery services that cover the journey from Seoul and Busan airports to hotels, between hotels, and hotel to the airport. Book our services to free yourself from the burden of luggage and fully enjoy your day at the theme parks!
